Quality Assurance

Quality responsibility, authority and organisation are duly described in the Quality Manual. The Shipyard is certified by Det Norske Veritas for ISO 9001:2000 standard. Testing procedures are described in the Quality Manual with details in specific additional procedures.
Inspections and Test Plan is also available for the projects as per contracts. This Inspection and Test Plan is very elaborate and is a comprehensive document.
The Shipyard is following the International Association of Classification Societies Quality Standard approved by all Major Classification Societies.

 

Customer Focus

ABG seeks to establish itself as an Indian MNC. Towards this end, there are several key pointers towards ensuring better business growth and higher customer satisfaction levels:

  • Operating revenues up to 70%-80% via Exports in the last 2 financial years.
  • Export Orders currently worth more than 60%.
  • Major domestic orders are from Indian Coast Guard among others.
  • Internationally, ABG has become a name to reckon with
  • Repeat Orders are becoming a regular aspect in ABG’s experience.

Historically as well as in the present, ABG caters to a diverse clientele including Oil Support Companies, Fleet providers, Indian Coast Guard, Commodity movers etc. Chemical / Product Tankers are amongst the future clientele of ABG.
