Maridive Egypt has placed an order with ABG Shipyard in Surat India for the construction of a new hull laybarge for delivery of hull and accommodation in Sept 2005 without the outfitting of pipelay equipment. The role of Valentine association is not known at this time. Maridive will outfil the vessel and perform final commissioning in the Middle East. This may fit with Valentine/ Arcadia's business plan for Indian flag Laybarge. Maridive's order also includes 5 support vessels - OSV, AHT and Crew-boat (ASen Jan 28, 05)
